OUR FOUNDER’s STORY
Energe’ Botanicals was co-founded by Brenda J. Eaden and Dr. Goetz Renner (Ph.D). Their past experience comes from working with reknown Winnipeg, Canada medical researcher Dr. Zenon Sosnowsk (MSc, Ph.D). He shared with Ms. Eaden and Dr. Renner his discoveries and passion for bee propolis which is a substance that provides reduction in pain and inflammation. The properties of bee propolis are also anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-microbial.
The Energe’ Botanicals team grew more and more intrigued as they learned from Dr. Sosnowski how bee propolis could work in conjunction with their select bontanicals and improve the efficacy of the natural products Ms. Eaden and Dr. Renner set out to develop.
Together, in 1997, they developed the first line of Energe’ natural products utilizing Dr. Sosnowski’s bee propolis patents for use in pharmaceutical and cosmetic preparations. Later, Dr. Renner had to return to Germany and sadly, due to his absence and inability to continue his invaluable contribution, the Energe’ Botanicals products went dormant until 2020.
Fast forward to today…
Given Brenda’s own personal positive experiences with CBD for relief, she decided to explore the development of quality products utilizing CBD. Intrigued, she began researching the benefits of CBD and advancements in its applications for mitigating discomfort, swelling and what other botanicals could be highly affective in after-treatment skin recovery.
Interestingly enough, she also discovered that CBD also shares some of the same beneficial anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties as bee propolis. This was truly excited Ms. Eaden.
Combining the knowledge gained relating to pain and pain receptors taught to her by Dr. Sosnowski, it was a seamless transition developing a line of CBD products that would also address post skin procedure relaxation issues that may be encountered.
Energe’ Botanicals is proud to announce it has relaunched and partnered with several innovative CBD manufacturers utilizing advancements in science and plant-biochemistry and is now marketing two new lines of i n t e n s e™ botanical products which harness the powerful benefits of CBD for the massage and spa industries.
